I composed this track in 2016. It is loosely based on a story of someone I know.
The story is based around a Wallflower girl who has struggled with depression ever since her father passed away. Her mother is hardly ever around, so she is very lonely. Living amidst the sea of sorrow, she sits on her back porch one day when suddenly a young fox appears. At first she was alarmed, as most of us would be in this situation, but the fox looked too young and innocent to cause any harm to her. It moved closer and the wallflower cautiously pet him. She had found a friend. Every day the fox would come back to play with the Wallflower, and she adored him, but it was not long until people started finding out about this relationship she has been having. The wonderful neighbors decided to call animal control on the fox one day, and swiftly they executed him. Once again the Wallflower was alone, floating in this paradoxical plain we call life.
